Following the controversial Saturday election, results were announced Sunday evening to the effect that candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party won in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
The candidate in Jada LGA, Umar Hammajoda, who spoke for all the APC candidates, alleged that the body responsible for organising the election, Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission , scuttled it deliberately. “ADSIEC presiding officers, electoral officers and returning officers failed to turn up for the election at the 2,609 polling units of the state.”
