The All Progressives Congress, APC, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, calling for the probe and apprehension of one Auwalu Jemomi and eight others for allegedly impersonating party executives of Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State. The National Legal Adviser of the party, Prof.

Abdulkarim Kana, in a petition dated April 16, said the statement issued by Jemomi and his group, announcing the suspension of APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje , has created confusion and unrest among members of the party and the public at large.

reports that the legal adviser of Ganduje's ward, Haladu Gwanjo, on Monday explained that they decided to suspend Ganduje from the party due to the allegations, bordering on bribery, levelled against him by the state government. Also, a Kano State High Court on Wednesday affirmed Ganduje's suspension following an ex parte order restraining him from further parading himself as a member of the APC.
