The Anambra State Government has shifted school activities to Saturday following the sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra

The secessionist group had since June 2021, ordered and enforced a sit-at-home every Monday in the Southeast following the rearrest of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

DAILY POST reports that economic activities in some parts of the region have suffered setbacks as shops, financial institutions, markets are shut from dust to dawn every Monday, since June.
