Association of Resident Doctors of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, COOUTH has suspended its two-month-old strike action.
Resident doctors in the hospital had on 13th May announced their resolve to embark on an indefinite strike, and were also joined by their Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria , thereby crippling the hospital. The doctors said their struggle was just and needed to be addressed in order to retain trained, experienced personnel and improve the standard of clinical services in COOUTH.
