Amusan shifts focus to World Championships after ‘solid’ race in Stockholm

Reigning African champion and record holder in the 100m Hurdles event, Nigeria’s Tobiloba Amusan, is happy with her ‘solid race’ at the Diamond League meet held in Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday.

Despite the second-place finish, Amusan has moved into a nearly unassailable position in the race for the final Diamond League meeting in Zurich this September. “Next stop is the World Championships in Oregon, USA. Same stadium I won the NCAA 100mh title in 2017 for University of Texas, El Paso.
