Operatives of the Western Nigeria Security Network popularly known as Amotekun Corps on Saturday rescued nine persons, who were kidnapped by some gunmen in Osun.The victims were rescued by the joint patrol team of the corps in Ondo and Osun states.
He explained that the corps responded to a distress call at about 1:00am on Saturday and immediately they moved into the forest to rescue the victims, who were travellers. “However, we were able to rescue nine victims and a vehicle. Our men are there in the bush trailing the kidnappers but our major concern was to rescue the victims.
