The group, in a statement on social media, urged authorities to ensure that those responsible for the act are brought to justice.The statement read, “Amnesty International strongly condemns the horrific killing of two policemen in Anambra State which was recorded in a recent video circulating widely on social media. The abduction and gruesome killing of the two police officers clearly shows utter disregard for the sanctity of life.
“Amnesty International urges the Nigerian authorities to act swiftly to find those responsible for these horrific acts or persons suspected of responsibility for the gruesome killings and bring them to justice promptly.
