The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Saturday said a petitioner, Dapo Apara has not substantiated his allegation of a N100billion scam against .The anti-graft agency, however, said its doors are open if Apara has any further proof with regards to his petition.
“While not denying the fact that such petition was received on Alpha Beta by the Commission last year, preliminary investigation has shown that the petitioner did not substantiate the allegation contained in his petition. “Mr. Aworinde called the Spokesperson to know the position of the Commission on the petition. The Spokesperson sent a response via a WhatsApp platform. Unfortunately, this response was not captured in the Punch report.
“It must have been the race to press. We were behind on our production deadline when I called for the reaction. My apologies sir”.
Efcc has suddenly become a judge. Not surprised sha. After all, they only good at giving sensational exaggerated headlines and media trial. An organisation is as good as the head running it.
🤣😂🤣😂
Efcc cos it's an apc that's involved. The petitioner can't prove case against them but let it be a pdp person. You don't need anyone to prove a case to you before you act
Now EFCC is shielding Alpha Beta over an ALLIGATION. I don't really expect this to lead anywhere. It's already a DOA (Dead On Arrival) story
Is this not a shame on punch n their journalists? What about those who jumped at such news as if their lives depended on it.
EFCC is more than corrupt, tell why ❓
