” It is clear in that exhibit that the attorney general of Abia State requested from the police for further investigation on the matter and order would be given when they refused to perform their duty.reports that the suspects are yet to be arraigned in court and the police are yet to release the investigation file to the office of the Attorney-General of Abia State.

The applicant, Mrs Blessing Ephraim, daughter of the deceased on November 8, 2018, through Mr Maxwell Okpara, her counsel, had filed a suit against the inspector-general of police. They sought the order of the court for an order of mandamus, compelling the police to release their investigation file on the murder of Okoro.
