Muktar Aliyu Betara, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Biu, Bayo, Kwaya Kusara and Shani Federal Constituency of Borno State, on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has joined the race of Speakership for the 10th Assembly.

When the 10th National Assembly formally convenes in June after the dissolution of the Ninth Assembly, one Honourable member of the House that has become a positive feature in the last five Assemblies is being favoured to lead the House of Representatives. He is Betara, an accountant and high-ranking lawmaker who was first elected into the House in 2007 to represent the Biu/Bayo/Shani Federal Constituency.

It was, indeed, during the period that the Appropriation Act 2022 and the 2022 Finance Act 2021 were passed and reenacted for the third year running with zero failure rate. This makes proper preparation and fiscal changes by stakeholders easier while implementing the budget. Again, when he returned to the 7th Assembly and following the collateral damage caused by the Boko Haram terror group, the House leadership was unanimous to select him as Chairman of the Committee on Army, where he made direct recommendations to empower and sustain the activities of the army against the rising insurgency in the Northeastern part of the country.

Why Super Eagles cannot fly in Nigeria | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World NewsNigeria’s Super Eagles should be one of the biggest football forces in Africa by miles. The reality, however, is that even the smallest teams in Africa now find the inconsistent team an easy opponent to take on, particularly on home ground in Nigeria. Once stolen mandate is recovered. Every sector would breathe a sign of fresh air including sports, Super Eagles will fly again It's always delightful reading Segun Odegbemi's articles. I enjoyed reading his articles alongside those of Mumini_Alao in Complete Sports in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I remember spending my pocket money on CS every Monday, just to read Mumini_Alao's article back then. Hummmm, Nigeria, naa waa ooo. My question is simply, the technology used by other nations to grow and maintain their playing field, can't we have the same in Nigeria? We have universities, private and public, to feed animal no grass! What can we do without involving foreigners?
