Akwa Ibom Tribunal Gets 15 NASS Petitions From 5 Parties News

The secretary of the tribunal, Mr Ibrahim Usman, who disclosed this yesterday, said that tribunal was expecting other matters before the commencement of its sittings.

Usman said that the 15 petitions were filed by the All Progressives Congress , Young Progressives Party , New Nigerian Peoples Party , Labour Party and Allied Peoples Movement . He added that out of the 15 petitions received, 11 petitions emanated from the House of Representatives and four petitions from the Senate.

The secretary also disclosed that two motions filed by YPP for inspection of election materials and the motions have been granted by the tribunal.
