Akwa Ibom State government and MTN have signed a contract for full broadband services.

This deal will ensure 24 hours provision of high speed Internet service via fibre network to Dakadda Luxury Estate in Uruan.

Speaking, at the contract signing ceremony, Commissioner for Lands and Water resources, Pastor Umo Eno, who signed on behalf of the state government expressed the hope that both parties would work towards achieving the target of satisfying every home owner in the estate. His words: “Full broadband Internet service is for 24 hours all day. Broadband means a broad economic future, so in this estate, residents can tele-work and be productive everywhere and anywhere within it. In the Dakkada luxury estate it is productive in ubiquity.”

According to him the fibre network has a highly scalable technology, resilent with high connection speed that will guarantee value for money.
