The Airport Police Command on Friday said it had commenced an investigation into the death of a man whose body was found on Runway 18R at the wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

DSP Olayinka Ojelade, the Police Public Relations Officer, Airport Command told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ikeja that the unidentified body might probably be that of one of the hoodlums who usually jump through the airport fence.

“We are still investigating the case of the dead body and once we are through we will communicate to you our findings.
