Still smarting from the recent attacks in Barkin-Ladi Council Area of Plateau State, two other persons have been killed, while five others were injured on Sunday night by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.After months of respite, there was a renewed attack in the area two weeks ago during which lives were lost and over 1,000 cattle rustled.A statement issued by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Plateau State Command, DSP Matthias Terna Tyopev, the Barkin Ladi Police Division about 8:00pm on Sunday received a distress call that a Peugeot 504 Station Wagon marked: AA 393 TSF, was attacked by unknown gunmen. It pointed out that the caller said the victims were travelling from Fanlo to Nding Village when they were attacked, adding that the attack resulted in the killing of Stephen Samuel and Dajugu Randong, while five other persons escaped the attack with various degrees of injuries.
