Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe said paying attention to details was key to their victory against Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on Monday. The Makurdi club reclaimed top spot on the table after the hard-earned 2-1 win. Samuel Tiza scored a brace for Lobi Stars, while Robert Mizo was on target for Bayelsa United.

Agagbe appreciated his players for putting up a good fight against the Prosperity Boys.

'I thank God for the result, I thank my players for the strong character they displayed in the game,' he told the club's media. 'When a player plays under instruction is bound to result in victory as we have seen in the game against Bayelsa United.' Lobi Stars top the standings with 13 points from seven games.
