A former Nigerian footballer, Adebayo Gbadebo, on Monday revealed how his father stopped paying his tuition following a call-up to the Super Eagles.

The footballer said that he vowed to achieve his goals and take care of his parents at the same time. He said, “My parents did not support my going into football. I was discouraged. Though they knew that I was good in the game, my father stood against it. Parents then only wanted you to go to school. I thank God for that, if not I could not be here today as a graduate of the premier university in Nigeria. I thank God for a father who will take his stand at every point, and remain on it.

Nigerians Should Prepare For Another Military Regime By Adebayo Raphael | Sahara ReportersWith chaos, Buhari’s chance to perpetuate himself in power is strengthened. Coups, as many like to argue these days, are antiquated; but the facts say there have been at least 25 coup attempts in Africa alone since 2010. We often forget that the authoritarian personality has not vanished; he is always willing to exploit weak states and fatalistic people. The road ahead is bumpy and rough, and Nigerians must prepare to either nip the latent threat in the bud or dance to the tune of what is to come. We are glad to hear that 💪 Military regime is preferred to this nonsense called domocracy That's the method they want to use to oust the imposter out of office without exposing his true identity. Nnamdi Kalu has already made this statement weeks ago
