The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Thursday, ratified the expulsion of its presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, and his running mate, Ahmed

DAILY POST recalls that the party’s leadership had in September, expelled its 2023 presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, over alleged anti-party activities.

However, at a special national convention, which was held at the Ahmadu Bello University Conference Hotel in Zaria, Kaduna State, their expulsion was ratified, while the national officers whose tenure expired were replaced with the election of new national officers by affirmation. In his acceptance speech, the returned National Chairman appreciated the delegates for reposing on him the mandate to lead the party for another four years, just as he promised to lead the party to victory come 2023.
