The lawmaker representing Mayo Belwa Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon Ibrahim Musa Italiya, has come under fire for allegedly giving N1,000 each as scholarship to students in his constituent.The action has since attracted the outrage of Nigerians who described the lawmaker as “a total disgrace and failure.”
“The honourable member must have done a wonderful job for assisting his Constituents with 1000 naira each. But, Just because of 1000 naira you must post the picture of someone face on Social media? This is honestly a total disgrace. Kai ana iskanci a Nigeria,” a Facebook user, Modibbo Bobboji, said. “A member cannot afford to give less than 50 students N5,000 each. He's not a promise keeping leader at all.”
Abdul Gurin wrote, “Even me as nobody from nowhere having nothing, I can afford to double it to 100 people. Imagine a member that has been elected to represent his host community.”
Where's the brain of this lawmaker, who knows how he got into that position please you people should stop making Nigeria or Nigerians look stupid.
