The absence of a case diary from the Police has stalled the court ruling on the bail application by counsel to Ganduje’s ardent critic on radio, Abdulmajid Danbilki Kwamanda over allegations of defamation.
Kwamanda is also being charged over allegations of inciting public disturbance, falsehood and injurious comments against the person of the Governor. When the case resumed on Tuesday for ruling, the prosecution counsel, Wada Ahmad Wada and the Counsel to the defendant Ibrahim Abdullahi Chedi told the court that the case diary was not ready and urged the court to adjourn its sitting to enable the court receive the diary, for perusal.
