The commandant, Paul Ozoemene stated this when he hosted the chairman of the Correspondents’ chapel of the state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists , Obinna Ibe in his office in Umuahia, the state capital.
He said this is in continuation of its ever-ready disposition of ensuring the protection of lives and property across the state in partnership with other security agencies. “My men have been strategically deployed across the state with special attention to flash points, the inauguration venue, Umuahia Township Stadium, and other locations of interest,” he explained.
“I have equally directed the commander of the Command’s Rapid Response Squad to scale up motorized patrols across the state with a view to ensuring a smooth inauguration,” he said.
