9th Assembly: I’m not in race for any leadership position in Senate – Wamakko

According to the former Sokoto state Governor who spoke through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bashir Rabe Mani categorically stated that ” I am not contesting for the position of Senate Leader or any leadership position at the Senate in the 9th Assembly.

”Wamakko in a release signed and issued to reporters by Mani said it was not true the reports published by some National Dailies on Sunday, June 16, 2019, “especially Daily Trust, enumerating my name as one of those gunning for the position of the Senate LeadershipThe Northern Senators Forum chairman insisted that “is not in any way true the reports by those newspapers particularly, Daily Trust”, adding ” ” I don’t have any interest to contest any of such positions and this remains so.
