Kaduna – Africa’s richest man and president of the Dangote group, Aliko Dangote has challenged northern leaders to wake up from their lethargy and provide leadership that will lift the region from extreme poverty and wants.
According to him, with the right investment in Agriculture, the north will be an oasis of prosperity adding that there is no country with such fertile and arable land that has the level of poverty witnessed in the north . “Northern Nigeria will continue to fall behind if respective state governments do not move to close the development gap and that is why we are always saying that the biggest challenge we have and what We are always praying for is to have ten governors like Mallam Nasir El Rufai’s.
“As the capital of the former northern region, Kaduna continues to lead on several matrix. Kaduna currently has the highest WAEC pass rate in the north and second highest IGR generation in the northern part of the region after Kano” he noted. On the way forward for the region, Dangote called on the 19 northern states to identify areas of comparative advantage and provide information and data on the opportunities available in their states in order to attract private sector investors.
vanguardngr Why won't they when the leaders has vowed that their youths will never have the basic education & enlightenment that will deliver them from the shackles of poverty & underdevelopment? The Northern elites wants it that way in order to keep manipulating them!! AlikoDangote atiku
vanguardngr I hope the so called northern leaders will have ears to hear.
vanguardngr Share them some dollars
vanguardngr Yet they voted for next level....next level of nothingness and zero progress
vanguardngr Why will they not when Govs will go for federal allowances and buy horses with the funds. Use state money to build mosques, feed everyone in the name of breaking fast. Na so they want am. Common to enforce basic education they will not.
vanguardngr 60% of them voted for next level of poverty
vanguardngr And the richest man in is from?
vanguardngr If they give them Education, to them they won’t have people subservient to them again. They love the Master-Servant forever way of life. Pitiful. May God open the eyes of these blind servants to believe in Education for a change.
vanguardngr And if not damd corrupt people that takes turns to go to Asorock that keeps elevating dangote, he could have been one of the poor persons in the north east. How can an importer and a cement Berger be the richest black man. The system in Nigeria is beyond corrupt.
vanguardngr Hmm..my brother Daango! that is how we see am oooo!!! just imagine what I will do to help these people if heavens gave me just half of your kind of wealth? 😉😁
vanguardngr Give them good education. That's the first step.
vanguardngr At least the same Dangote they've been bragging about is the one telling them the truth. It should be more than 60% anyway
vanguardngr Emir Sanusi said so and he was almost crucified, I wonder what they would do to Dangote since he is not employed by any of them.
vanguardngr More than that sir. A king among the poor
vanguardngr As you know do something for them
vanguardngr A big shame to this man,you are claiming the richest black man in Africa precisely from kano state north western nigeria, can tell us the Industrial development in your region ,you have contributed 40% poverty in those regions ,you have the capacity to develop the entire northern
vanguardngr Simple ; education n religion is d key not recitation n fanatics to religion.must b mixed with Western education.
vanguardngr next level😜...let the dead buried the dead
vanguardngr same place have the richest black man .. and most number of billionaire in Nigeria.. So it's very simple to change or lower the poverty rate there
vanguardngr Bkox, you leaders from the northern axis of the country failed your people, you believed in RANKADEDE chanting by them & continue to humiliated them 'masses'
vanguardngr Even when they have been the ones in power for decades..SHAME!!!!!!!
vanguardngr Opon all ur greediness for leadership. Shame
vanguardngr What are you doing about it
vanguardngr Tell them to have only the number of children they can cater for. That's the only way to reduce their poverty
vanguardngr No be lie
vanguardngr 60% of them voted for Buhari
vanguardngr Ur zone
vanguardngr How can they develop without education ? Why would their governors build more mosques 🕌 than schools 🏫? Sponsor the recital of the Quran than computer 💻 programming ? The feudal system in the North is their ultimate demise.
