540 die, 3, 383 others sustain injuries in road crashes in January- FRSC

A total of 540 persons died, while 3, 383 others were injured in 950 road traffic crashes across the country in January, Federal Road Safety Corps has reported.The agency in its monthly Road Traffic Crash Report signed by the Corps Marshal, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, and made available to News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, on Frida, said the figures indicated a decrease of 21 per cent in fatality.
