According to a statement by Head of Press and Public Relations Unit of the Commission, Goodluck Akinyomi, the 10-minute online recruitment examination would commence by 9.00 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Bayo-Philip said the commission would not compromise the academic standard of the state’s secondary education, as the education of the children is paramount.

TESCOM said that following the high number of applicants that showed interest for the teaching jobs An Akure High Court has sentenced a 17-year-old boy, Jibola Fakologbon, to 14 years imprisonment for assaulting and sexually abusing a female student.The trial judge, Yemi Fasanmi, sentenced him after he was found guilty of the offence.

The Kano State Emirate Councils Amendment Bill has scaled first reading at the state’s House of Assembly. This followed the adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by the Majority Leader, Lawan Hussaini .
