A total of 2,700 delegates are expected to participate in the Saturday State Congress of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Minna, Niger State capital.

The Chairman Local Organizing Committee, LOC, for the conduct of the Congress, Hon. Hamidu Kadi kuta, made the disclosure while speaking to journalists on the preparedness of the party for the conduct of the congress.

The LOC chairman revealed that a total of 2,700, including special delegates across the 25 local government councils, are expected to take part in the state congress tomorrow. “All delegates from the twenty five local government areas are expected to remain in their hotels until they are called upon to come to the venue to cast their vote. This decision was taken in order to avoid crises during and after the election.”
