$22.7 loan: Court told to stop President Buhari immediately

The lenders, Presidency, and the National Assembly are also named in the suit seeking to stop Buhari from accessing the loan.

CUPP acting through one of the registered political parties/coalition members said it has just commenced a legal offensive to stop the proposed borrowing of the sum of $22.7b by the Buhari government and also written to all the lenders to halt the loan request in view of the pending legal action. “The Senate leadership has clearly and unambiguously shown it is not on the side of the people and it is not representing the Nigerian people but their selfish interest. $22.7 loan ? Who so ever posted this headline is mad , $ 22.7 what? , billion or million or cens?

what a silly govment this man is running? A loan, SS is to pay 69% igbo 20% SW 8% and North 3% but igbos are not beneficiary

This is the move I would have expected OfficialPDPNig-the MAJOR opposition party- to have taken dayssssss ago. PatheticParty 👎👎👎

The whole loan structure does not really add up.$300m on economic governance is technically insipid and could only truly fit into a loan jamboree of some sort. The CBA of the the entire loan architecture cannot readily pass a loan appraisal from a commercial bank.
