The House, on Wednesday, following a motion moved by Kunle Olanrewaju , set up an ad hoc committee to conduct the investigation.
Responding to the point of order, Aisha Dukku , the Chairman of the Committee, said no such motion was referred to her committee. Quoting a report by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project , Mr Olanrewaju said INEC has suffered at least 41 arson attacks in 14 states between February 2019 and May 2021.
After the investigation, nothing will come out of it. Let them not use more money in an investigation that will not bring out good result.
