The Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has sacked the 44 Centre officers who have been coordinating the 2023 Hajj exercise in their respective

This was contained in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, issued to DAILY POST.

The statement said the Governor replaced them with interim officers to coordinate the ongoing Hajj operations in the state. He, however, instructed the newly appointed officers to assume their responsibilities and report to the new Director-General of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board for further instructions at the Board’s Headquarters.

DAILY POST reported that hours after his inauguration, the Governor sacked Amb. Mohammad Danbatta, and appointed Alhaji Laminu Rabiu as the new Director-General of the Board.Related Topics:
