The Emir who was represented by the senior counsellor of the emirate, Basiru Nuhu Sanusi made the call when he received the Jigawa Education Partners in his palace.
He explained that girls’ education is crucial to the development of any given society and the whole Nation. “Street Hawking is another problem that is contributing towards reducing girls enrollment into schools, especially in rural areas which may be associated with the level of poverty and ignorance”
According to him” women are always complaining about marginalization in Governance and other areas and it is only when you are educated you will be given such opportunities” the Emir stated.
