Nigeria’s former military head of state, Abdulsalami Abubakar has thrown his weight behind the candidacy of Prof Christopher Imumolen, the 2023 Accord Party presidential candidate.

The retired General said Nigeria was in dire need of energetic and youthful leaders like Imumolen, noting that it was high time the old guard left the scene. “As a matter of fact, this is the time Nigerians should begin to support young, vibrant and visionary leaders that would steer the country on the path of glory,” he said.
