The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has said there will be no general extension of registration closing date for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and the Direct Entry , explaining that only those with genuine proof will be granted an extension.
JAMB had shifted the closing date from May 15 to May 29, but observed complaints of candidates’ inability to register. The board said though some excuses are authentic, a large number of others were caused by fraudsters working against the system.“The board wants to avail every prospective candidate the opportunity to still participate in the 2021 registration exercise.
“They are to obtain and complete a form, at no cost and will submit, for the Reading Test and the Application, a certified bank draft of N4,000. A signed duplicate copy from the office must be collected.
