Blessing, a JSS 3 student of Great Miracle Montessori School Abuja, beat 14 other competitors to clinch the top prize at the competition.
The annual event took place at the corporate headquarters of LEADERSHIP Newspapers Group with the theme, “The Nigeria We Want”. The event, with participation by over 35 school children from within Abuja, featured Spelling Bee, Logo Design Competition, Games and more. Blessing was announced as the winner of the N50,000 grand cash prize and was awarded a certificate for her feat.
“I will give one-tenth of the money to God and the rest to my mother, who helped coach me,” she said.
