Speaking, one of the teachers, Precious-stone Samuel, said it was a thing of joy seeing children and the hard work of teachers paying off.
“It is something we have to be proud of for our children becoming brand ambassadors of LEADERSHIP. We really hope that this will have a lasting impact in their lives. I’m sure this is what LEADERSHIP already set in mind to do. “We cannot really overemphasise, children are the future of tomorrow, if we don’t give them what they need now they will definitely not be able to perform in future and the future we think is coming next year is already at our doorstep.
“I will just keep advising that parents should try everything to give children the sound education that will put them through in life. Without education, they don’t stand a chance, education is key,” she said. Samuel further called on the government to find a lasting solution to the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities , saying that any interruption students have will definitely affect their lives.“I feel so excited about winning this award. I would advise my fellow students to keep trying out, keep working hard and they might even pass the level I’m staying at.”
