The Alabama High School Athletic Association has postponed this week’s Regional Bowling Championships, the AHSAA Wrestling Duals Tournament semifinals and Wednesday’s scheduled Winter Central Board of Control meeting due to expected winter weather. The AHSAA office will also be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Gov. Kay Ivey issued a State of Emergency and closed state offices and buildings in Montgomery and several other counties for Tuesday and Wednesday,” said Harmon. “The AHSAA will follow that order. We will close our office for Tuesday and Wednesday with our executive staff working from home.” The AHSAA Wrestling Duals semifinals and finals are being moved to Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex’s Bill Harris Arena. The Duals tourney semifinals and finals were originally scheduled for Friday at the Bill Harris Arena.
