A winter storm system is expected to cause travel disruptions across Utah, particularly in the Wasatch Front and central and southern regions. The Utah Department of Transportation has issued a Road Weather Alert, advising travelers to expect significant snowfall, slushy conditions, and enforced traction laws on major routes like I-15 and I-80.

Parley's Canyon will experience intermittent slush and light snow through early Wednesday. Officials say the Wasatch Front, from Bountiful through Utah County, should prepare for slushy road conditions Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. More than 20 major routes face weather-related concerns, including heavily traveled highways US-40, US-89/91, and the entire I-215 loop.
