will.i.am is hosting a star-studded benefit concert in his hometown of Los Angeles to celebrate his upcoming 50th birthday and raise funds for his i.am Angel Foundation. The concert will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight at will.i.am’s FYI Campus in Hollywood (809 No. Cahuenga Blvd.). 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the i.am Angel Foundation's emergency fund, which provides immediate financial assistance to families, students, and communities affected by hardship.
Donations will be distributed to the LAUSD Foundation, Pasadena Educational Foundation, and Core Foundations to maximize their impact within the community. The rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor who will turn 50 on March 15, is a familiar face in the entertainment industry. He is a seven-time Grammy winner, having secured six Grammys for his work with the Black Eyed Peas.
