The Arizona Department of Transportation says U.S. 60 is closed in both directions
WICKENBURG, AZ — A new brush fire has sparked road closures and evacuations for residents near Wickenburg.It's burning within the Hassayampa Riverbed, about four miles south of Wickenburg, on the east side of U.S. 60.
A"GO" evacuation status has also been ordered by the Maricopa County Department of Emergency for the Rio Vista Hills community south of Wickenburg. Residents are told to get out now.
