has had enough of people shaming her for not bouncing right back after giving birth to baby number four. It’s a weird phenomenon where people feel like a mom should look like she didn’t just have a baby after she actually grew a human in her body. At the same time, if a mom wants to take the time to focus on her health and recovery, she’s shamed for not prioritizing her new baby. Lowry has had enough, and she’s letting people know.
After an on-again-off-again romance with Lopez and bouncing between harmonious co-parenting and contentious, with Lopez just this summer. Through the drama, Lowry has been consistently there for her sons and is raising them to be healthy and happy.Almost every woman who has ever given birth to a child, much less four, can relate to this. As soon as the baby leaves your body, people expect you to look like you did pre-human-growing.
all of this being said, i decided to do sh– at my own pace. i decided i would start here – a photoshoot to be proud of my body and really love what it has been capable of doing 4x – but also as a starting point in my fitness & health journey. hopefully i will be able to look back on these photos & see significant changes & progress – but still have love for myself & all that my body has gone through.
