The estranged husband of former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp says she is recovering after undergoing surgery for multiple brain tumors. “So many people asking for updates,” Edwin Arroyave wrote on his Instagram story on Feb. 13. “All I will say right now is surgery went well. That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some much needed rest. I know she is grateful for the outpouring of love.

Her first post said she was waiting for Arroyave and their kids, Cruz, Slate, 12, and Dove, 4, to arrive. She also quoted her father, singer John Cougar Mellencamp. “As my dad said this am, god only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be OK,” she said.
