Published: Nov. 26, 2024 at 5:16 AM ESTCLEVELAND, Ohio - The patient who stabbed a caregiver at a Maple Heights medical facility in April, is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. Maple Heights Police Chief Todd Hansen said officers were called outAccording to the chief, Halasz was in a closed room with a 49-year-old male caregiver when he stabbed the caregiver.
Police said the on-site security officer was then able to confront Halasz and subdue him at gunpoint until officers arrived.
