CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 19-year-old Garfield Heights man who pleaded guilty to a fatal shooting at the Garfield Heights Pizza Hut earlier this year, will be sentenced by Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge William Vodrey Wednesday.
In October, Dakaree Cook pleaded guilty to felonious assault, involuntary manslaughter, and tampering with evidence for the death of Anthony Hairston, 20. Garfield Heights Police Chief Mark Kaye said the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 at the restaurant in the 5500 block of Turney Rd.
