The former Alabama strength coach is now the head coach at West Alabama.
Mark Heim | [email protected], appeared on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Thursday and said Saban reached out to him upon hearing the news of the new gig.
“You know him, he’s like ‘anything I can do for you.’ I was like, ’OK, I’m gonna be calling for sure.‘” He began coaching under Saban at LSU, and returned to work under him in Tuscaloosa after a stint in the NBA.
