San Marcos police officers investigated and determined there was no active threat on campus, officials say.
San Marcos High School was briefly on lockdown Tuesday afternoon while police investigated a threat received in an anonymous phone call, the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School Distri ct said. San Marcos Police determined there was no active threat on campus, the district said in a post on its website. The school announced the lockdown shortly before 4 p.m., and said about 15 minutes later that all students and staff were accounted for while police continued to investigate. About 4:40 p.m.
Another Hays County middle schooler arrested, accused of school threat The police department initially said on Facebook that a single caller reported “an active attack” at the school, and said later that the caller reported “seeing a male with a gun in the hallway.” However, Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said there were “no shots fired” at the high school.
