Today, she posted images of herself at the Château de Versailles palace on Instagram, calling the experience of carrying the Olympic torch an"honor.
In the photos, she wore an all-white outfit with the Olympic rings embroidered on her chest and the date. She wasn't alone, however, as she was joined by politician Rachida Dati, French soccer player Presnel Kimpembe, and Patrick Bruel. "Yesterday, I had the honor of carrying the Olympic flame, a symbol of light, hope, peace, and unity ♾️. If you believe in these values, know that you were with me every step of the way," she."As I passed the torch and took part in the relay, I was proud to represent the enduring spirit of the Olympics, bringing light, hope, and unity to all. #Olympics #Paris2024."Hayek also posted about the honor yesterday, when she was prepping for her leg of the relay.
"Getting ready to participate in the Olympic torch relay in Paris! Feeling the excitement and unity the Olympics brings. Stay tuned for more photos with the torch tomorrow🌟," she wrote before translating her caption to Spanish. "Preparándome para participar en el relevo de la antorcha olímpica en París! Siento la emoción y la unidad que traen los Juegos Olímpicos. Estén atentos para más fotos con la antorcha mañana.
