Scottie Scheffler came out on top in the Players Championship tournament
Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry’s earnings for the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass have been revealed with Scottie Scheffler coming out on top in the tournament.
McIlroy played began well at the tournament with 10 birdies in round one as part of a round of 65, although his form wouldn’t last as, in the second round, he hit five birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey to end one-over 73."He is battling with his game and it's not coming easy at the moment for McIlroy,” said Paul McGinley."His faults were exposed the last couple of days, with water balls off the tee in particular, but he's putting quite decently.
