Seidler murió por una causa no revelada el 14 de noviembre. Tenía 63 años.
Machado relató que conoció a Seidler en un almuerzo poco después de que firmara como agente libre en 2019 y lo calificó como “uno de los más grandes seres humanos que ha tenido el privilegio de conocer; quien dejó una gran huella no solo en el mundo del béisbol, sino en la comunidad”.
