One dead, one injured after head-on crash in southeastern Utah
SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah — One man was killed in a head-on crash in southeastern Utah Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m., a pickup truck and passenger car collided while traveling in opposite directions on State Route 162 near milepost 8, between Bluff and Montezuma Creek. Utah Highway Patrol said one of the vehicles had gone into the oncoming lane, but it was not given which one. The driver of the passenger car was killed, and the pickup driver was injured and taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
