Lake-effect snow has brought several inches of snow to most of Northeast Ohio over the weekend. Snowfall is expected to gradually decrease over the course of the weekend.
Periods of heavy snow have been ongoing over the last few days across Northeast Ohio. Lake effect has been the name of the game since Friday afternoon. Snow will gradually come to an end throughout the course of the weekend, lasting the longest in most of our northeastern communities. This event will stand out because the snow affected most of the viewing area, and several inches of snow have been reported across NEO.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland posted updated snowfall amounts around 11:30 am on Saturday. Below is a list of snow reports that represent snow on the ground as of Saturday morning. Since lake effect snow is slowly shutting off, these totals are subject to change, but this will give you an idea of how much snow has fallen across the area.
