People have four weeks left to receive their first or second Covid vaccine, or the spring booster

Those eligible to receive the spring Covid booster jab are being urged to come forward by the NHS as the campaign is set to close at the end of the month. Friday June 30 is also the last chance for anyone to get their first or second Covid vaccine if they haven’t already.

Around 6.6 million are eligible in line with JCVI advice, which includes people aged 75 and over, people aged five and over with weakened immune systems and older adult care home residents. This latest vaccination is being offered to those considered most at risk, following advice from the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation. Those invited should make sure their appointment takes place at least three months after their last dose.
