Summary Netflix's Man on Fire has cast a Marvel Cinematic Universe star in a major guest role. The upcoming show, which is based on the same 1980 A.J. Quinnell novel that inspired the 2004 Tony Scott movie starring Denzel Washington, is being written and executive produced by Lone Star and Awake creator Kyle Killen.
Per Variety, Bobby Cannavale has just joined the cast of the Man on Fire show in a guest star capacity as Paul Rayburn, an old friend of Creasy who is a former Special Forces soldier. The character also appeared in the 2004 movie as played by Christopher Walken, playing a major role in several key sequences. At the time of writing, it is unknown for how many episodes Cannavale will appear in the role.
